The JVI is located directly across the street from the Jay Country Store Shell Gas Station located on the 242 right in "downtown" Jay VT. Excellent food, rooms are very comfortable and they make an amazing dish of AK Crablegs and the New Zealand Cockles .... a steamed clam, that makes for a great late night snack. It's the unofficial "town Hall" of Jay VT; a very relaxing pool room, living room, and bar atmosphere with a large fireplace to warm up to.

Located on the 242 in the center of town, it has everything you could ever need. From beer, to cereal, to lunches, to fresh cut steaks, to cheese, meals, lunches, a wide variety of clothing , Carharts, 2stroke motor oil, GAS and more. The real secret is for under $4.00 you can get a Homemade breakfast sandwich and a coffee, The sandwich is english muffin or bagel, sausage or bacon, egg and cheese. The perfect way to fuel yourself till lunch. They also have a grill and sit-down operation... They are even carrying "Will Work 4 POWDER" Tshiirts.... not much they dont have in fact.
